In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI), by a count of 44-1.
The Jaguars (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Thunderbirds go into the Downriver outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Edsel Ford was crushed by Garden City (Garden City, MI), 50-26, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Melvindale for a Western Wayne outing on Friday, February 17. Annapolis will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 43-21 non-league win over Central Academy (Ann Arbor, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-12.
