The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Anchor Bay Tars to 36 in the Norsemen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Norsemen now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utica Ford for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Grosse Pointe North will meet a Falcons team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 16-1.
The Tars (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Dakota was defeated by Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
