The Jonesboro Eagles topped the host Avalon Eagles basketball team by a final score of 40-21 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 16. Jonesboro will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 27-4 record after their 105-31 non-league win over Wells (Wells, TX).
