St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Battle Creek Academy Tigers (Battle Creek, MI), 43-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Philip Catholic Central upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Fighting Tigers host Belding (Belding, MI) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Black Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Belding won 65-56 in their recent league bout against Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI)
Next up, the Tigers play the Will Carleton Academy Cougars (Hillsdale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Battle Creek Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 42-32 non-league win over Marshall Academy (Marshall, MI).
