Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD), 65-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Parkston (Parkston, SD) to play the Trojans in a A Region 5 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 13-6. Parkston won 70-40 in their recent league bout against Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Bon Homme will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Gorillas come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 61-42 league win over Burke (Burke, SD).
