The Lovelady Lions (Lovelady, TX) basketball felled the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 48-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (21-14) will now prepare for their test against Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 24-8 record. In their last test, Bosqueville thwarted Axtell (Axtell, TX), 40-14, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-7 record.
