The Chippewa Falls Cardinals basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Medford Raiders to 44 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eau Claire Memorial for a Big Rivers contest on Friday, February 17. Chippewa Falls will battle a Old Abes team coming off a 48-38 league win over Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Old Abes record now stands at 16-5.

The Raiders (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Indians enter the Great Northern bout with a 12-10 record. In their last bout, Mosinee was edged by Freedom (Freedom, WI), 52-48, in a non-league bout.
