Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 66-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Deep Creek upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to clash with the Clippers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Grafton won 57-47 in their recent league bout against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Great Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 42-24 league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
