In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad felled the host GALA Goddesses (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 57-40.
The Phoenix (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fremont (Los Angeles, CA). The Pathfinders go into the non-league outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Fremont thwarted Annenberg (Los Angeles, CA), 58-27, in a non-league outing.
The Goddesses now own a 7-8 record.
