The Halstead Dragons basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Lyons Lions to 32 in the Dragons league victory on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haven for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Halstead will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Hesston (Hesston, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-4.
The Lions (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Hillsboro prevailed over Nickerson (Nickerson, KS), 39-24, in a non-league contest.
