Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI), 46-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lapeer upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Lightning host Dryden (Dryden, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 13-6.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, February 17. Saginaw will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
