Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion County upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Knights host John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-10. John Hardin lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY)
