In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. John Tigers (St. John, KS) basketball squad beat the host Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS), by a margin of 57-37.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Macksville defeated Otis-Bison (Otis, KS), 54-18, in a non-league outing.
The Black Bears now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ell-Saline for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17. Sterling will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 46-38 non-league loss to Bennington (Bennington, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-11.
