The Thornton Academy Trojans ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the host Greely Rangers to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Thornton Academy moves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME) to face the Red Storm in a Class A contest on Saturday, February 18. The Red Storm go into the contest with a record of 8-5. Scarborough won 5-4 in their recent league contest against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME)

The Rangers now sport a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Elizabeth for a Class B South contest on Saturday, February 18. Greely will face a Capers squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Capers record now stands at 11-2.
