Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), 22-2 in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 21. Plant will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 18-6 non-league win over Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Gryphons clash with the Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 20. Sickles will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 18-14 non-league win over Durant (Plant City, FL).
