In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Decatur Eagles softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Iowa Park Hawks.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reedy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. Decatur will battle a Lions squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Iowa Park falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to battle the Porcupines in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Porcupines enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Springtown won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX)
