Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18.

With the loss, Wimberley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Texans travel to La Vernia (La Vernia, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. La Vernia lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Natalia (Natalia, TX)
