Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), 52-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Suffield upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season.

Next up, the Jets play the East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 40-34 non-league win over Bulkeley (Hartford, CT).
