The Appoquinimink Jaguars basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Delcastle Technical Cougars to 51 in the Jaguars league victory on Wednesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hodgson Vo-Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Appoquinimink will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-38 non-league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.

The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Wilmington, DE). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Howard edged Concord (Wilmington, DE), 67-49, in a league contest.
