Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 65-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 28-3 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 22-9. Thompson won 63-43 in their recent non-league bout against James Clemens (Madison, AL)
