Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), 57-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brewster upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mahopac (Mahopac, NY) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 18-2. Mahopac lost 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Somers (Lincolndale, NY)
