In Wednesday's non-league match, the host East Granby Crusaders basketball team scored a tight 40-34 triumph over the Bulkeley Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Crusaders meet the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 16. East Granby will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Jets go into the test with a 9-7 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Suffield (West Suffield, CT).
The Bulldogs now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Achievement First for a Capitol Region test on Thursday, February 15. Bulkeley will encounter a squad coming off a 67-45 league loss to University (Hartford, CT). The record now stands at 1-18.
