The North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), 52-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Shanksville Stonycreek was tipped by Windber (Windber, PA), 62-31, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 19-5 record.
