Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 69-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastlake upgrades its record to 17-12 on the campaign. The Titans travel to University City (San Diego, CA) to play the Centurions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Centurions enter the game with a record of 21-8. University City won 74-63 in their recent non-league game against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA)

With the defeat, Helix moves to 13-16 on the year.
