With the victory, Newport improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Cubs host Cascade (Turner, OR) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Oregon West challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Cascade won 72-56 in their recent league challenge against North Marion (Aurora, OR)

Next up, the Rangers confront the Crook County Cowboys (Prineville, OR) in a 4A Tri-Valley challenge, on Friday, February 16. Estacada will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 59-42 league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, OR).
