Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) and the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), saw Hampshire's basketball squad hold off Preston by a tally of 52-50.

With the victory, Hampshire improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Trojans host Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV) to confront the Falcons in a Potomac Valley AA challenge on Friday, February 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Frankfort won 58-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Northern (Accident, MD)

Next up, the Knights confront the North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Preston will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 77-60 league loss to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV).
