In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT) basketball squad edged the visiting Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), by a margin of 47-45.
The Rangers (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, North Country Union was tipped by Montpelier (Montpelier, VT), 79-54, in a non-league outing.
The Crimson Tide now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Lamoille for a non-league outing on Friday, February 16. Spaulding will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 47-33 league win over Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Lancers record now stands at 9-9.
