The Lowell Red Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting St. John's Prep Eagles to 55 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a Merrimack Valley - Large contest on Friday, February 16. Lowell will meet a Raiders team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-6.
The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Cambridge Rindge & Latin was nudged by Lynn English (Lynn, MA), 68-65, in a non-league contest.
