The Mahtomedi Zephyrs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host St. Thomas Academy Cadets to 38 in the Zephyrs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Zephyrs now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Two Rivers for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Mahtomedi will battle a Warriors team coming off a 79-69 non-league win over Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-13.

The Cadets (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans come into the AAA Section 3 contest with a 4-18 record. In their last contest, Simley dropped by Tartan (Oakdale, MN), 75-34, in a non-league contest.
