The Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) basketball felled the host Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME), 57-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Fort Kent thwarted Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 69-55, in a league test.
