The Centennial Cougars basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Champlin Park Rebels to 71 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coon Rapids for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Centennial will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 79-64 non-league loss to Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-14.
The Rebels (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Totino-Grace was nudged by Rogers (Rogers, MN), 68-52, in a non-league contest.
