Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ellet Orangemen (Akron, OH), 65-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Garfield Community Learning Center (Akron, OH) to play the Golden Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Golden Rams come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Garfield Community Learning Center won 44-31 in their recent non-league bout against Manchester (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Orangemen play the Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Ellet will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 61-26 non-league win over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH).
