In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) basketball squad beat the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), by a margin of 52-42.
The Chucks (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bradford (Bradford, PA). The Owls go into the District 9 outing with a 3-13 record.
The Wildcats now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Juniata Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 15. Homer-Center will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 70-42 non-league win over Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-12.
