The Loyalton Grizzlies basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Surprise Valley Hornets to 23 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butte Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Loyalton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-26 league loss to Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-6.
