In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Jackson County Panthers.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars come into the battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Cedar Shoals nudged Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
