Caddo Magnet Mustangs (Shreveport, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Washington Lions (Shreveport, LA), 16-1 in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stanley for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Caddo Magnet will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 23-9 non-league win over Lakeside (Sibley, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Washington falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA) to battle the Knights in a 4A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
