California Condors (Whittier, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Condors now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Los Altos for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. California will battle a Conquerors squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Bonita (La Verne, CA). The Conquerors record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Esperanza falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA) to battle the Diablos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Diablos enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
