The Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) baseball trounced the host Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), 11-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Iberville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 15. Avoyelles will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Port Allen drops to 1-1 on the year. The Pelicans host Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 17. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Broadmoor lost 22-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA)
