The Barbe Buccaneers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Lions to 46 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Lafayette falls to 20-15 on the campaign. The Lions host New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 5A District 3 game on Tuesday, February 18. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 14-18. New Iberia lost 47-44 in their recent league game against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA)
