In Friday's league contest, the host St. Augustine Purple Knights basketball team scored a big 59-35 triumph over the Brother Martin Crusaders.
The Purple Knights (24-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 23-7 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Brother Martin will attempt to better on its 12-17 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 12-21 record after their 60-27 league loss to John Ehret (Marrero, LA).
