The Sulphur Golden Tors were victorious over the host Carencro Bears basketball squad by a final score of 48-37 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Golden Tors clash with the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 match, on Tuesday, February 18. Sulphur will attempt to advance on its 29-6 season record. The Buccaneers enter the match with a 25-15 record after their 56-46 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA).
The Bears now own a 14-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 match on Tuesday, February 18. Carencro will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 79-41 non-league loss to Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 25-16.
