The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) and the host Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN), observed Eastern's basketball team knock off Clinton Central by a score of 79-67.

The Comets (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Daleville was knocked off by Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN), 69-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Clinton Central will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Oracles come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 75-74 non-league win over Western Boone (Thorntown, IN).
