In Friday's league contest, the host Diamond Wildcats basketball team scored a big 68-35 win over the Sarcoxie Bears.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Lockwood Tigers (Lockwood, MO) in a Southwest contest, on Monday, February 17. Sarcoxie will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 59-57 league win over Marionville (Marionville, MO).
