The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), observed Western Branch's basketball team overwhelm Great Bridge by a margin of 80-59.
The Bruins (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs come into the Southeastern challenge with a 20-2 record. In their last challenge, King's Fork trounced Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 111-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Monday, February 17. Great Bridge will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 82-64 non-league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA).
