The Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), 52-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Comets now possess a 18-10 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton for a South Central bout on Tuesday, February 18. Greenville will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-36 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-4.
With the loss, Vandalia falls to 12-16 on the campaign. The Vandals host Carterville (Carterville, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 14-12. Carterville won 60-49 in their recent league bout against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)
