The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA) basketball edged the visiting Life Christian Academy Eagles (Chester, VA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 21-8 record. They play next when they travel to Christchurch School for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. Veritas Collegiate Academy will play a Seahorses team coming off a 77-68 non-league loss to Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 7-17.

With the loss, Life Christian Academy falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bethel Academy (Manassas, VA) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 22. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 9-10.
