Maryland High School Basketball - Towson toppled by Linganore

February 14, 2025: Frederick, MD 21701

Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Towson Generals (Towson, MD), 68-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Linganore advances its record to 13-6 on the year. The Lancers host Tuscarora (Frederick, MD) to face the Titans in a CMC match on Tuesday, February 18. The Titans enter the match with a record of 10-7. Tuscarora won 59-42 in their recent league match against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD)

The Generals now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver A&T for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. Towson will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-21 non-league loss to Franklin (Reisterstown, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-13.
