The Wink Wildcats (Wink, TX) basketball edged the host Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), 48-46 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 23-9 record. They play next when they host Ropes for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Wink will play a Eagles team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Loop falls to 25-6 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Amherst (Amherst, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-9.
