Nebraska High School Basketball - Milford holds off Sandy Creek

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Milford Eagles basketball team scored a close 72-67 triumph over the Sandy Creek Cougars.

The Eagles (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Boys Town (Boys Town, NE). The Cowboys go into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Boys Town nipped Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE), 64-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Sandy Creek will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 11-10 record after their 67-30 non-league loss to Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE).
