The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY), 78-41 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Goldbacks now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Monroe-Woodbury for a Section 9 Orange County I bout on Thursday, February 20. Newburgh Free Academy will play a Crusaders team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Yonkers falls to 2-14 on the campaign.
